Frederick Kozak joined Haywood in early 2004 and brings almost 25 years of industry experience, including all aspects of oil and gas engineering and financial analysis, to his role as a Senior Oil and Gas Analyst. He previously worked as a research analyst at two Canadian investment firms as well as in Corporate Finance for a multinational accounting firm.

Frederick started his career as a Petroleum Engineer and has also worked in the oil and gas industry in financial analysis and corporate planning.

Frederick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is a registered professional engineer in the Province of Alberta.
